The comments error that was occuring on this blog has been repaired, the fix was actually a pretty simple one. If you are using WordPress and you see the error:
WordPress database error: [Can’t open file: â€˜[something].MYI’ (error: 144)]
the fix is quite simple. Against the MySQL database, either from the command line or in phpMyAdmin, just execute a repair:
REPAIR TABLE [something]
Following that, you should see the error gone. :)
UPDATE ON MAIN SITE!
Well, the problem with the security policies on the main site has been repaired, oddly enough the module responsible for their parsing also was pulling from a corrupted table, so the fix was the same as the above, however the error was more cryptic since it was solely redirecting the user to the default page because of mod_rewrite I suppose.
Anyways, both of them are fixed now.
